Very often, the experience of buying bird nest can be full of suspense and can easily turn out to be a scam if we are not too careful.
Even buying from the regular bird nest shop would not fully protect you from the probability of being conned. Yes, they can easily give excuses like, “That’s what my supplier has given me! 6 years ago i bought bird nest from CANADA. After eating birdnest soup for one hour, my sugar lever dropped down very low. it almost kill me.

Bird nest consumers must be extra careful when it comes to purchasing bird nest from unknown sources.
If in doubt, always go for the reputable bird nest sellers. They might be more expensive, but if you have any problems with the products, at least you can still go back to the sellers and demand an explanation.
By buying direct from bird nest farmers, including from farmers like me, there’s always the risk that you could be buying fake bird nest or bird nest that are not 100% pure in its content. Also, it’s very difficult to tell if the bird nest has been cleaned without the use of chemicals such as bleachers and acid, which are very harmful to human.
So, I can only advice consumers to be extra careful. You know, it would be very ironic to pay so much for bird nest in the hope of improving your health, but you might end up with a worsening health if you are not lucky enough to source your bird nest from unscrupulous bird nest traders.

I bought some bird nest, but they are not quite fragile. Could it be that they didn’t dry up well so that it can weigh heavier. If that is the case, then even I soaks it into water, it won’t enlarge that much either, right?
